Jinx

Aljur Abrenica recently introduced as one of the new characters in the top-rating Kapuso epicserye Amaya as Dayaw. His last teleserye Machete was axed earlier than expected because of low ratings and some viewers of Amaya are worried that Aljur's jinx might affect the overwhelming appreciation of the people to the show. Like what I have said before, a thorough workshop is long over due for Aljur. Viewers are now looking for shows with a good story with actors/actresses who can really give justice to their respective roles and not just a good, nice body to flaunt on national television.

Good-Looking Gareth "Gaz" Holgate

Gareth "Gaz" Holgate is a 24 year-old half Filipino, half Welsh and one of the hunky Philippine Volcanoes national men's rugby team. There are so many good-looking guys on the team but this one is really an eye-catcher. Recently, he escorted Kapuso actress Lovi Poe to the launching of Esquire Philippines and that's how started the rumor that he's been courting her. He of course denied it by telling he has a girlfriend (How lucky!) back in the UK.

On a side note, I think he has resemblance with Hollywood actor Colin Farrel, don't you think?

Hunky Angelo Cacciatore

Sometimes, I see him skinny on some of his photos, but these two made me to like him just now. Angelo Cacciatore is a Fil-Italian commercial model who appeared in Globe Broadband Tattoo, Coca Cola Bench, etc. He is being manage by the same agency who also manages the likes of Andre Enrique, Luke Jickain and Adrian Racho. He is in his early 20's and stands at 5'10". He is a real hunk, I must say!

Behind Bars

Two days ago, it was reported by News To Go of GMA NewsTV that Starstruck Avenger Vivo Ouano was caught during a drug buy bust operation alongside with four other teenagers. Now, they are behind bars but since some of them are minors, they will be place temporarily in the care of DSWD.

Praybeyt Derek

Praybeyt  Benjamin, a movie produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films will soon hit the wide screen nationwide (October12, 2011). And the leading man of the main star is none other than the very masculine and sexy Derek Ramsey. During the presscon of the movie, some stars were asked if ever they had an experience with gay, and two notable actors said "YES!". I wasn't on the presscon so I really don't know if Derek was there and was also asked or he wasn't there at all. If he was there and was asked, I wonder what he would have said.

Weekend

Let's end this week and this month of September with a bang! What else could be a better way to end it with sightings of pixes of one of the hottest Azkals member Aly Borromeo. He's one of the few recruits (models) of Bench Philippines.

There He Is!

There he is! Carlo Maceda has been out of the spotlight. Rumor has it that he is already content to what he accomplished not as an actor but as a husband to a very beautiful non-showbiz girl. Some might miss him so much seeing him in a movie or a TV show but I believe (as past reports suggested) that he is now concentrating more on producing indie films.

Hideo: Still In Demand

Two weeks ago, Hideo Muraoka joined nine other centerfold gorgeous men to show how sexy they are at the Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2011. It was a jampacked venue and I must say, Hideo is one of the most applauded men of that night. Some say, Brazilian men fever is almost gone, but as long as Hideo is in demand, I don't think so. Just look at that chest and armpits. :-)

When Will Neil Etheridge Shows Up on Stage?

A lot of gays and women are asking when will Neil Etheridge be the main star of an underwear fashion show. I don't think we will be able to see him doing it for Bench since we saw him on videos and photos modeling for Folded & Hung underwear. Derek Ramsey: No Other Woman, Really?

Derek Ramsey will soon hit the big screen again via No Other Woman, a joint venture of Star Cinema and Viva Films. According to reports, Star Cinema decided to move the playdate to an earlier date (September 28). Also in the major cast is Cristine Reyes and Anne Curtis. The title of the movie seems to coincide with the recent issue regarding Derek's having a son to a non-showbiz girl. No Other Woman, eh? Really, Derek?

Survivor Philippines 2011 Soon!

Last year's Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition was a success and now, this year, another celebrity edition will soon hit GMA's telebabad. I was fortunate to have seen every single episode of last year's showdown of the celebrities. Right from the start, I know that Akihiro Sato will have a big chance to be one of the last three men standing.I was right and eventually, he won the title of the very first Pinoy Celebrity Sole Survivor. So excited for this year's edition. According to reports, it will be shown later this year.

New Manager: New Career?

Recently, JayR Sillona (together with his girldfriend, Bb. Pilipinas-Int'l 2010 Krista Kleiner) moved from Arnold Vegafria's mangement to Stages of Carlo Orosa. His main reason was to get more focused on his singing career here and hopefully abroad, particularly in Asia. According to him, he already recorded some songs in Indonesia with another Asian singer.

He's been in showbiz since 1997 but I think he's missing the charisma that Pinoy viewers and listeners are looking for in a male singer, and that's one of the reasons why he's still behind of the male singers discovered (or won from singing competition) recently. Let's see if this move from him will give him his way to the top.

Neil's Turn, But When?

Last week was the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2011 and we have seen some gorgeous men walking down the stage. I was just wondering when we will be able to see Neil Etheridge own the stage. I'm guessing both the gays and gals alike will be overcrowding the venue wherever it is. Hope this will happen pretty, pretty soon. Anyone has any idea as to when?
