His contract with the Kapuso Network will soon expire and there is a possibility that Dingdong Dantes will not renew it. One major reason he's considering according to some sources was having a blockbuster movie last year with the Star Cinema, the film and television production company of the Kapamilya network. According also to rumors, Dingdong is once again offered to do a new movie under Star Cinema and will be paired with Bea Alonzo.
He is lucky enough to be given an opportunity to do a movie for Star Cinema even though he has a contract with the Kapuso network. Will he be a new Kapamilya actor after JC de Vera (another Kapuso who transferred to Kapatid network before he became a Kapamilya)? We'll just wait and see.
